| ST. GEORGES ANGLICAN CHURCH TAORMINA
St. George’s Anglican church was built in the early 1920's on the initiative of a small group of English people who used to spend most of the year in Taormina. The church is located in Via Pirandello near the top cable car station and welcomes all staying in Taormina to attend the regular Sunday service and is entirely dependent on the offerings of the people who worship there. Surrounded by a lovely garden the church has a large polychrome window behind the main altar, picturing Jesus on the cross.
